TwentyThree — refreshing our brand in the age of AI
30 June 2026TwentyThree Transforms into Global Growth Collective to Meet Changing Business Needs
When Claire and I first set up TwentyThree back in 2017, we realised there was an obvious synergy in the services we offered. We decided to combine our offering in a public-facing website, while maintaining our operational independence. And this worked well for a good few years.
But a little after Covid, we realised that the thing that set TwentyThree apart wasn’t just our amazing clients, great delivery, and impressive industry experience, it was the extensive global network of similarly experienced professionals we had met and engaged with over the years.
More often than not, when drafting comms strategies for companies, we weren’t just advising how they should present their brands and businesses to the world, we were also making recommendations on who they should be chatting with about new expansion opportunities. Obviously we also recommended other service providers from our circle of trusted agencies and consultants, but it soon became clear that the benefits of dealing with multiple service providers through one channel were significant. And so TwentyThree morphed into a global growth collective.
So what is a global growth collective?
Today’s organisations are operating in some of the most complex, yet opportunity‑rich markets the world has ever seen. Many leaders are gearing up to sell into multiple regions, juggling currency and geopolitical volatility, navigating different regulators, and trying to make sense of platforms that change every other week.
In an environment like this, growth isn’t just about doing more marketing, it’s about building a connected growth system that can flex across markets, cultures, and regulations, without losing sight of the bottom line. That’s where a global growth collective like TwentyThree can really make a difference.
One collective, one strategy, many markets
We designed the collective so that when you partner with TwentyThree you get a single growth strategy, executed across channels and designed to grow with you as your business enters new markets.
When you work with multiple niche agencies, each one tends to optimise according to its own strengths, often at the expense of the bigger picture. A single, lead agency operating within a growth collective keeps everything aligned. You get one brand narrative and one growth plan that every founder and associate works towards.
With one briefing you save on time and can get going a lot faster, and with a lot less friction. A single partner gets to deeply understand your business model, sales cycles, and internal realities. Working with our associates and extended supplier network, TwentyThree holds the reins and guides your journey, no matter how many horses are drawing the carriage.
Once TwentyThree gets to grips with the long-term vision for your organisation, we work with your teams to help get them there, making sure your brand and messaging is crafted to go the distance.
By contrast, working with multiple agencies often results in organisations spreading budgets thinly across many vendors, which increases the likelihood of misaligned objectives and short‑term thinking. Far too often we have seen businesses opt for the bright and shiny brand strategy that seems very attractive right now, but will be horribly obsolete in a couple of years – often just as they are poised to enter new markets.
Always room for projects
That being said, while TwentyThree excels at long-term engagements, we are always up for project work.
And just because your company engages with us for a short period of time, doesn’t mean you won’t still feel the benefits of the growth collective. For instance, a once-off website build will still allow enough time for Claire and her team to get under the hood of your business and understand what makes you tick. Her work with the rest of the team means that your business is top of mind if we hear of opportunities within our extended network, or simply think of potential synergies within our client base across the globe - which happens far more often than you think.
All the skills, none of the risk
Organisations of all sizes are shying away from growing internal teams. But they are still acutely aware that they need the skills and insight of seasoned professionals. Working with a growth collective means you get fractional access to experienced consultants with deep industry expertise and vertical experience, orchestrated as one team. This becomes even more attractive when you are in the precarious position of managing your expansion plans.
The truth is, most brands don’t need more campaigns. They need fewer moving parts, better decisions, and partners who actually understand how markets work on the ground. At TwentyThree, we plug you into a global bench of specialists while keeping one accountable partner at the centre of your strategy. If you’d like to explore what that could look like for your growth plans, let’s talk.
